Hi! My name is Tatiana Cavanaugh and I am the founder of Golden Hour Concierge. I am married to my wonderful husband Brian and we are blessed with four children; Charlie 11, Wes 9, Drew 7, and Reese 5. Their personalities are very distinct and to say we have our hands full is an understatement. But because of them, I have created habits for a meaningful and productive life which has served our family well.
in the home motto:
I like a clean house. Less is always more. And I do this by moving with a purpose.
For instance, if I'm upstairs doing laundry and one of my children calls me down to help them with something; I am going to bring the clean dish towels, the empty water cup in the kids bathroom, and my son's musical instrument that I know he needs for school down with me. When I come back upstairs to finish the laundry, I will bring up two dirty sweatshirts I find in the mudroom, my daughter's scrunchie, and my son's new library book he wants to read in bed tonight.
take away:
The ability to multi-task and to always be lightly on has allowed our demands to typically underwhelm me and provide me with a good head space to parent.
When my dad passed in 2020, my mother moved to an independent living community near us in Hingham, Massachusetts. Relocating her entire life into a 1-bedroom apartment where she knew no-one was a bit nerve-wrecking; but I was excited for the opportunity to help her adjust. I became her interior decorator, organizer, utilities coordinator, wardrobe consultant, errand runner, social media guru, and eventually even… her matchmaker! I realized that not only did I love tackling each project, I was more ecstatic watching my mom grow confidently into her golden hour.
outside the home motto:
I love to help others. My heart is happier when I give than when I receive. I strive for this by staying curious and current.
Since I can remember, I have enjoyed connecting with people. I am typically the first to engage in conversation, the invite that brings people together, the offering to help a friend or family member with a project that seems daunting, and the runner of errands to make someone's life just a tad bit easier.
take away:
Allow me to give you more hours in your day by doing what I love. Let's achieve your golden hour, together.
